1.自我介紹
Teaching is second to none in my life. Determined to be a teacher able to provide best quality to students at all ages and all levels, I build my career on the solid knowledge of theories and methodologies, precise lesson planning for each class/ individuals, and all sorts of solutions to the commonly seen problems students at different stage may have. Yet, it’s also very clear to me that English is not simply a language to learn, but a new tool when enables students to open a window to the world and a great opportunity for them to exercise their thinking ability. These are the most important conclusions that I have drawn from my thirty-year teaching experience.
When it comes to teaching, sufficient analysis of the teaching materials and preparation before class are the most essential. A complete understanding about how a lesson is structured allows teachers to make a lesson plan including appropriate teaching approaches, communicative activities for both drilling and applications, necessary teaching aids/pros or online media, and even possible learning problems that students at different levels may have. With the knowledge, teachers are able to reach the goals of the lesson effectively as well as to provide the opportunity of guiding students to explore into the core of the learning problems or into an extended learning. A lesson plan designed based on complete understanding and necessary preparation is really a must to teaching English.
Moreover, critical thinking and interdisciplinary learning are key factors to boost students’ motivation at all ages. Thinking logically with various popular topics has proven effective to students’ language skills from all aspects. Being familiar with critical thinking skills such as comparing and contrasting, establishing cause and effect, evaluating different points of view...etc., students are able to reflect on the justification of their own assumptions, beliefs and values. Being a voluntary bilingual docent at museums, I have the training and skills to teach students how to link important ideas according to their interests in most current international events,
art, science, or even in archaeology. The success I have gained in helping both children and adult students make magnificent improvement in grammar, speaking /presentation, and academic writing convince me the qualities of a good teacher should, by all means, include a logic mind as well as an open attitude to all knowledge to keep up with the students’ real needs.
Learning English is never an easy thing, and neither is English teaching. From my experience, students nowadays indeed have a quite higher expectation and standard for teachers who are able not only to teach spelling rules but also to help them come up with effective solutions to individual’s learning problems. To make sure I don’t have to give up what I enjoy throughout my career, I shall never get up every opportunity to brush up my skills in the field of English teaching.

2. 統整教授文法,能有效快速完整教會文法並活用之。
3. 擅長英文寫作教學,適用於課業輔導、升學考、及語言檢測。
4. 專精自然拼音及正音教學;為國家認證有聲書錄音人員。
5. 有多年輔導康橋、復興、華興、竹林…各公私立雙語國小~高中學生經驗。
6. 能以全美語教學教授上述所有課程。
